Happy New Year

I hope everyone has had a great first day of the new year! I took a little time to paint today, and I am hoping to paint a lot more this year. I am trying the 30 in 30 challenge, which is to paint 30 paintings in 30 days. I don't know how realistic that is for me, but I'll paint as much as I can.  Here's my day one project:
